Luzopeptin A is a member of the echinomycin (quinomycin A) class of antitumor and antibiotic agents. Luzopeptin A is also a potent inhibitor of HIV-1 and HIV-2 reverse transcriptase.
Luzopeptin A is soluble in DMF or DMSO. Moderately soluble in methanol or ethanol. Poor water solubility.
