1,3-Diphenylurea is an endogenous metabolite of plants present in coconut milk (Cocos nucifera) amonth other sources. In combination with casein hydrolysate, 1,3-diphenylurea promotes transport of photosynthetic products in the vascular tissue of carrots and promotes growth. 1,3-Diphenylurea has weak cytokinin activity.
