| Mechanism of Action | Fipronil inhibits the chloride channels of insect GABAA receptors in the nervous system, causing excess neuron stimulation leading to death. Fipronil can also inhibit the GABAA receptor subunits in mammals, but with a much lower binidng affinity. |
