Mitoxantrone Dihydrochloride is used for cancer research as a chemotherapeutic for leukemias and solid tumors. It has immunosuppressive activity and inhibits proliferation of lymphocytes and induces apoptosis of antigen-presenting T-cells.
Mitoxantrone Dihydrochloride is sparingly soluble in water.
