Pentamidine is a broad spectrum drug able to target fungi, parasites and protozoa. While it was previous phased out of common use in medicine due to relatively high toxicity, it has experienced a resurgence with the occurance of drug-resistant organisms (DRO's). Researchers are also interested in the antimicrobial activity of pentamidine's analogs.
TOKU-E Company offers two forms of pentamidine: pentamidine (P113), and pentamidine isethionate (P114).
