    Xanthyletin

    S/.860.22 - S/.3,008.34

Xanthyletin, a dimethylpyranocoumarin structurally related to psoralen, is the active principal of Luvanga scandens widely used in Hindu medicine. Xanthyletin was isolated from the New Guinea tree, Flindersia pimenteliana, by Taylor and Ritchie, University of Sydney, Australia in 1975. Xanthyletin is an inhibitor of platelet aggregation induced by arachidonic acid and collagen, and is active against L-1210 cell line in vitro.

Xanthyletin is soluble in ethanol, methanol, DMF or DMSO.

    Molecular Formula C14H12O3
