Acetoxypolygodial is a drimane sesquiterpene isolated from the leaves and stems of Tasmannia lanceolata and bark of Canella winterana, and present in other plant species. Acetoxypolygodial is antifungal and weakly cytotoxic, and is potently active against Plasmodium falciparum (IC50 2.53 ug/mL).
