    Kinetin (6-furfurylaminopurine)

    ¥10,701.04 - ¥36,608.81

Kinetin ((6-furfurylaminopurine) is a cytokinin routinely used to stimulate cell division in plant tissue culture. Kinetin is soluble in methanol or DMSO.

    Molecular Formula C10H9N5O
Plant Biology Applications Kinetin is often used to direct cell differentiation of callus cells in tissue culture using an appropriate cytokinin:auxin ratio. Kinetin has shown to increase callus cell growth in rice when grown with sucrose and 2,4-D concentrations (Al-Kayri,1996).
