    Anhydrotetracycline HCl, EvoPure®

    $228,163.06

Anhydrotetracycline hydrochloride (ATC) is a tetracycline derivative routinely used in tetracycline mediated gene expression. Anhydrotetracycline hydrochloride does not have antibiotic properties and is soluble in ethanol (2 mg/mL) and DMSO (10 mg/mL).

Eukaryotic Cell Culture ApplicationsAnhydrotetracycline acts as an inducer of tetracycline resistance genes by binding to and inactivating the tetracycline repressor TetR to allow expression of downstream genes of the tetr promoter. Tetracycline also acts as a inducer of tetracycline resistance genes; however, anhydrotetracycline binds to the TetR repressor with higher affinity without toxic effects.
