    ৳26,629.83

Quetiapine Fumarate is an inhibitor of dopamine and serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter thought to play a role in depression and schizophrenia.

Classified as a Dangerous Good. May be subject to additional shipping charges. Contact us for details.

Mechanism of ActionQuetiapine Fumarate is a dibenzothiazepine with antagonist activity at dopamine (D1, D2, D3) and serotonin (5-HT1A and 5-HT2) receptors. It also antagonizes adrenoreceptors (alpha 1A, alpha 1b, alpha 2) and histamine receptor (H1).
Eukaryotic Cell Culture ApplicationsQuetiapine was found to alleviate oxidative stress in PC12 cells, leading to higher cell viability and a lower rate of apoptosis. These studies give new insight into the link between oxidative stress and pathophysiology of schizophrenia and Alzheimer's (Wang et al, 2005).
    Molecular FormulaC21H25N3O2S · 0.5C4H4O4
SolubilitySlightly soluble in DMSO and DMF. slightly soluble in water.
