Cysteamine Hydrochloride (syn: Mercaptamine Hydrochloride) is a compound used in the study of cystine transport disorders in humans. More recently it has gained interest as an antibiofilm compound, particularly in cystic fibrosis research.
Cysteamine Hydrochloride is very soluble in water and alcohol.
