Cefotetan Disodium is a broad-spectrum cephamycin antibiotic. Cefotetan is often grouped together with second-generation cephalosporins and has a similar antibacterial spectrum, but with additional coverage against anaerobic bacteria. It is also used as a media supplement in Oxford Listeria Selective Supplement. Cefotetan is also used in antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
